7 Day Countdown to Scentsy Mediterranean Cruise

Here we are just 7 days away from the Scentsy Mediterranean cruise and I cannot be more excited! My husband and I also went to Athens, Greece and the Costa Rica Incentive trip a few years ago. With that, I have compiled my top 5 tips for traveling abroad! Let me tell you that many of these trips require 8-12 hours of flight, sometimes more for our Canadian friends.

  1. Bring a sleep mask- I can not even begin to tell you how much this has given me the opportunity to get just a little shut-eye before reaching my final destination. It really helps when the person the next seat over decides to use their reading light.
  2.  Noise-canceling headphones are a must! Nothing is worse than having a snoring neighbor!
  3. Compression Socks are also a wise purchase! These help increase circulation and reduce the risk of swelling in your legs during a long flight.
  4. Stay hydrated- Yes, I know you don’t want to be the person that has to get up every few minutes from your seat and make a break for the lavatory. So just be sure to take a few sips of water each hour as it is very easy to get dehydrated while flying.
  5.  Avoid fast food- Fast food at the airport is full of sodium and can cause swelling and bloating. There is nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable on top of feeling uncomfortable in your seat.

Scentsy Consultants! Company owners Heidi and Orville Thompson have announced a partnership with the company Maven. The Scentsy Maven partnership is going to be a game changer in our businesses. Maven is an app that is available on the Apple App Store or GooglePlay. The app was designed to help you with one of the most crucial aspects of your business. FOLLOW UPS! This app tracks recent purchases from your customers and gives you a “My To dos” list in which you should reach out to previous customers. The maven app shows customers previous orders right down to the product they purchased as well as quantity. This will allow you to re-engage with the customer in a meaningful way. This app falls in line with Scenty’s current 2-2-2 system. You will receive a notification two days after the customers’ purchase, two weeks after their purchase and two whole months after their purchase. This helps customers feel like they important to you and they should be! This follow up system will allow you record who you gave samples to and now you can track that and follow up with those potential customers. This will highly strengthen your customer relationships and we all know that these relationships are the cornerstone of your business. Maven works with Instagram to help generate recruiting leads and online presence which will have a large impact on your personal branding. This system is fully automated and ensures that your “to do” list is displayed at the optimal time and has pre-filled out messages that can be sent at the click of a button.

Symphony of the Seas

Here we are! Just a few weeks away from boarding a plane and having the experience of our lives onboard the Symphony of the Seas! It almost seems unreal, I cannot believe that my spouse and I are going to see places that we never thought we would. I am so excited to spend time with all of you and the past 5 1/2 years have been a whirlwind of emotions for me. I never thought that my “little” candle business would be so successful and I would be able to give my family the financial stability that we had always dreamed of. It is unreal to think that just 5 1/2 years ago I started this business just because I wanted to be able to afford my Jeep payment and in just two more years it will be our main source of income when my husband retires from the United States Coast Guard. I cannot wait to post pictures of our trip and share with you the experience that is “SCENTSY”. Scentsy is not just a brand of home fragrance products but is now a part of my family and where I find my joy. Every day I meet new people that are like-minded and want to better themselves and their families and are goal driven. These “Scentsy Sisters” are the most supportive group of ladies that I have ever encountered and they are my support group. We keep each other going in all aspects of life! And while we might live 1,000 of miles apart we talk to each other every single day! I hope that my future posts and pictures inspire you to join my team and come with me on the next incentive trip! I know you can do it! I will guide you each step of the way and help you reach your goals!
